  • Graduate students participating in this course are required to collect more families and identify more species than undergraduates. • Spelling always counts on all exercises, quizzes, and exams. A misspelled answer is an incorrect answer!
  • Some exercises may be supplemented in a web page. Each lesson may include a short exercise that will be completed in class (or submitted via email or slow mail for Distance Education students).
  • Each topic has one or more short exercises (see list of course exercises), which will be submitted using mail, FAX, or email.
  • ON CAMPUS STUDENTS, absenteeism will be detrimental to your grade. There will be no make-ups, and missed assignments will normally receive a grade of 0 (zero). Attendance will be apparent with your completed exercises.ONLINE students also must complete assignments, but the schedule for these is detailed on the course CD. on time.
